Getting to know us
The Pan Macedonian Association of Melbourne, Victoria, is an association existing for the purpose of educating and promoting the Macedonian Hellenic culture, news, affairs, and history. Melbourne is an amazing city filled with hundreds of people from different cultural backgrounds, and Macedonian Greeks are one of the cultural groups within the city. This is why the organisation was established, to ensure that Macedonian Greeks of coming generations, although they are far from home, will continue to preserve and uphold their culture and history.
Our Mission
We seek to preserve the legacy of our founding members to protect and preserve the Hellenic origin of the culture, history, and name of Macedonia and to debunk all the distortions and falsifications of history while also promoting our Hellenic culture and history.
The Association seeks to strengthen all cultural and educational ties existing between all Pan Macedonian associations both in Greece and Australia and to make sure that our Association will continue to uphold this legacy for generations to come.
Executive Committee
The association affairs are managed by an executive committee made up of a president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary. The executive community ensures that the association functions effectively, and all our activities align with our goals at all times.

- We aim to represent the interest of the Macedonian Greeks and our unique experience.
- We aim to improve all existing cultural and educational ties between all Pan Macedonian associations both in Greece and Australia while also creating new ones.
- We aim to protect the Hellenic origin of the culture, history, and name of Macedonia.
- We aim to debunk all the distortions and falsifications of history by using proven facts and figures supporting the Macedonian culture and history.
- We aim to promote Hellenic history and culture so that our children will understand this heritage and why it is equally important to them.
Our Activities
Meetings
The Association hosts regular meetings which focus on issues relating to the Hellenic culture and history, both ancient and contemporary. Our meetings represent an opportunity for Macedonian Greeks in Melbourne to meet and connect on experiences that are peculiar to the ethnic group while also preserving our sense of community. Our meetings can take various forms depending on the purpose. Some are guest speeches where a guest speaker who can be of Macedonian Greek ancestry or an expert on Macedonian Greek history and culture will join us to discuss certain aspects of the culture so that every member will have better knowledge and understanding of our Hellenic culture and tradition. There could also be panel discussions which have more than one speaker in attendance. All our meetings are tailored to be informative, fun, and bonding.
